Pressure Cooker Split Pea Soup
Yield: 6-8 servings
- 1 lb split peas, soaked and rinsed
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 celery, diced
- OR 1 tablespoon dried celery leaf
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 cups water
- Add everything to the pressure cooker. Mix well.
- Close and lock the lid.
- Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
- Let cool via the natural release method off the burner.
- Open the pressure cooker, remove the bay leaves, mix, and serve.
